This post is way past due. So this road-trip has been a dream of mine for a long time. Most people don't dream about traveling to Utah or Montana or Wyoming but these states are hidden gems that I only discovered through being obsessed with the travel channel. So when a cheap flight to Denver from Philadelphia came about, there was no way we were going to let it past by. The plan was to fly to Denver then drive to all the other states with our main agenda being the Yellowstone National park. I am going to allow the pictures to tell the story this time.

First stop after landing in Denver was...Red Rocks Park

We then headed on a 3 hour trip to Grand Junction, Co where we were staying that night. We visited the Colorado National park the next morning. The cheaper way to tour different national parks is to purchase the annual pass for $80. It is good for all National parks and its good for a year. Most parks charge $25 per vehicle so this is way cheaper.

Our next stop....Moab, Utah. Arches National Park

Salt Lake City was next on our list

The next stop on our road trip to Yellowstone was Idaho

We reached West Yellowstone in Montana on the 3rd night

Our home for the night in West Yellowstone

The rest of our time at Yellowstone National Park

After spending the night in Billings, we headed to our next destination...Rapid City, South Dakota

We stopped at Bear Country USA on the way

Finally ended up at Mt. Rushmore park. It was spectacular.

We drove through Nebraska on our way back to Denver to fly out.

It was such an awesome trip...by far the best trip I have ever been on,

ABOUT ME

Over 3 years ago, I was invited by my cousin to tour Taipei, Hong Kong and Macau. This trip completely changed my life and made me realize the small space in the world that I occupy and have been on a global journey to see the world ever since. I started this blog to share my travel experiences and stories with people and hopefully inspire them to travel.  I love visiting understated countries and cities because in my experience they end up being hidden gems.  I have visited 32  countries and 42 US states.

WHERE AM I NOW ?
